This improvement project was started to widen the San Diego Freeway (I-405) between SR-73 and I-605 and improve 16 miles of the I-405 between the SR-73 freeway in Costa Mesa and I-605 near the L.A. County Line.
Saf-T-Co Supply’s most valuable contribution to this project was the new Caltrans standard temporary lighting weights & plates assemblies. These are sold exclusively through Saf-T-Co Supply and can be seen at many of the I-405 expansion jobs.
